February News in Kindergarten
celebrate Valentine's Day and do a card exchange on February
16th. There will be a substitute in the class on
the 14th, therefore we will have a little fun on
Thursday afternoon instead of Tuesday. I have attached a
class list. Please have your child write on the cards.
It is great handwriting practice. If you cannot pick up
Valentines for the class, I have plenty of construction paper that
I can share. I can send some home so that you can make
Valentines with your child.
cards will be sent home in the mail. I will be scheduling
Parent-Teacher Conferences for February 9th. Slips
will be sent home with scheduled times on Monday. Please let
me know if you cannot attend so we can reschedule.
There are several books missing from the school's library.
If a book has come home that does not have a stamp or sticker which
states it is a gift from the Weippe Public Library, then it is a
book that belongs at school. We do not allow library books
outside of the classroom in Kindergarten. They are supposed
to come from the library, and remain in the classroom to read until
we return them to the library. There are seven books
missing. If you have any at home please return them as soon
as possible. The titles of them are as follows:
Cake Decorating with the Kids, The Perfect Pumpkin, Bark George, I
Galileo, Hoaxes Fibs and Fakes, Fly fishing for Kids, and
Deer Hunting for kids.
